If you look at my feed and home, you will find out very quickly, I am a lover of light neutral colors. Although this is true, I do find that there are places where darker colors are appropriate. For instance, I love a dark accent wall, darker painted interior doors, or even an entire office painted with a darker color.
Box beams are a good alternative to solid wood beams. Box beams are made of three individual pieces of wood that are nailed together to form what looks like a solid beam. It’s a much more economical option and it is something you can do yourself.
Spring is one of my favorite seasons. Hearing the birds sing and seeing the trees and flowers bloom is so refreshing. Here in Tennessee we often experience long winters, and I am always thankful when this time of year rolls around. It gets me excited about adding some color and fresh touches around the house.

If you’re not sure what a media kit is, it’s basically a way to tell a potential partner a little bit about you and what you can do for their brand. It should contain your logo, a bio, your most important social media and blog stats, as well as brands that you’ve previously worked with. You might also want to include your rates and and some testimonials.
As we are in the planning stage of our new custom build, it is very important to think about each detail and each room. Henry and I plan each room separately. They will all follow the same overall theme, but each will have features making them unique.
