Blogging Tips

This is the second post in my “becoming a blogger” series. I’m writing these articles in order to share some tips I’ve learned so far in hopes that it might help others get started on their own blogging journey.

I have never been able to say “I love my job” until now! I would love for everyone to be able to say those words. Those are words I tell my daughter to think about every time we talk about college and degrees. But, the reality is, not many people can say this and it took me until I was almost forty to get here.

I thought it would be fun and hopefully helpful to write some articles covering the behind-the-scenes of our blogging journey. Although it hasn’t been a very long one yet, I hope it is the start to many more years.

If you’re a blogger or influencer and you plan on working with brands, it’s a good idea to have a media kit. If you’re not sure what a media kit is, it’s basically a way to tell a potential partner a little bit about you and what you can do for their brand. It should contain your logo, a bio, your most important social media and blog stats, as well as brands that you’ve previously worked with. You might also want to include your rates and and some testimonials.
