This is such a great question! I even posted a poll on my Instagram stories and noticed that over 60 percent said they would use hardwood in a bathroom. I am going to answer this question and then give some reasons to back up my answers.

We are in the process of painting our exterior brick. Henry and I love painted brick and think it’s such a classic, timeless look. I think a lot of people want to do it, but for some reason are a little hesitant about taking the leap.

A laundry room doesn’t have to be big to be beautiful or functional. In fact, some of the most gorgeous laundry rooms I have come across are quite small, but function just as wonderfully as a big one. It’s not about how big of a space you have, it’s how you make use of it.

One of my favorite decor items to use throughout my Christmas decor is a wreath. While many only think of using wreaths on exterior doors, they can be used on the interior as well. Sometimes thinking out of the box leads to our best design wins. While decorating for Christmas the past couple of years, I have been implementing small and larger wreaths in many places other than the front door.

I can’t believe this year is almost over and we are already thinking about the new year. Home decor trends come and go from year to year, and then some just never get old and seem to be timeless. Looking forward to 2020 there are several trends that will probably stay, some that will die out, and then others that will be booming. Here are a few we are super excited about to see come alive this next year. Many of these we are implementing into our new home and can’t wait to share it with you.
