Building a house can be very rewarding in the end, but sometimes the journey getting there can seem long and even frustrating at times. We know this journey all so well, and are very familiar with the many obstacles that can take the joy out of building.
As you may know we do our own yard work around here. Henry loves it, but me…I enjoy it, but maybe not as much as he does. However, it does save us lots of money. It also ensures us that it will be done properly and to our expectations.
Who would ever dream that choosing a white interior paint color could be so hard. Whites can be bright, creamy, and even carry some gray tones. Believe me when I say, there are thousands of different shades of white. This can be a daunting task if you don’t have somewhere to start.
An entryway is such an important part of your home. Its where your guests come and go. It’s the first and last place they see when visiting. Its very important to make this area not only beautiful, but welcoming to your guests.
We have started to work our away into designing the interior of each room in our new home. The layout obviously is already there, but this is the fun part when we actually put the pieces together to create the look and feel we are going for.
