Choosing a countertop for your home is something that is an extremely important decision. I know it’s one that we spent a lot of time on making sure we were choosing the right material. But not only is the type of material very important, we also put a lot of thought into the color.
Whether remodeling or building, we all know a kitchen is where it’s at. It is probably one of or could even be the most important room of the home. It’s even been proven that a kitchen can make or break the sale of a home.
Years ago before I had a kitchen island, I always dreamed of having one. Our very first kitchen was a galley kitchen and the second one wasn’t large enough. But, the third time was a charm! In our third home, which was a custom build for us, we made sure and added an island into the kitchen design.
A microwave is one of those things that you sometimes think you can live without. It is the kitchen appliance that isn’t always so attractive and you may not use it on an everyday basis, but feel like you probably still need one.
