So when we started planning for this build, we discussed lots of things, but a pantry was not one of them. Im not the typical mother or wife that cooks every night or has a stash of food in the cabinets. Actually, I would be kind of embarrassed to show you my pantry right now. You would probably call me a horrible mother or think that I do not feed my children. I can assure you this is not the case, but I do not buy in excess and really don’t have much need for a huge pantry.

Ok, Im not going to lie and tell you the entire process of designing your own home is easy. In fact, purchasing a stock plan would have been more of my style and maybe kept me a little younger. You see, I’m the one who takes the easy road and Henry not so much. He is always up for a challenge.

Is a three car garage worth the extra cost? This is a great question! It is one we always ask ourself before we start a new build. If doing a poll, I’m sure most would vote to do a three car garage, but the number one thing holding people back would be the cost and the space.

If you look at my feed and home, you will find out very quickly, I am a lover of light neutral colors. Although this is true, I do find that there are places where darker colors are appropriate. For instance, I love a dark accent wall, darker painted interior doors, or even an entire office painted with a darker color.
