Embarking on a new build or remodel presents an exciting opportunity to tailor every aspect of your home to your personal tastes and lifestyle. One element that often becomes a focal point of such projects is the garage door. In my journey, the allure of real wood garage doors was undeniable. They exude a unique charm and sophistication that can transform the exterior of any home.
Our exterior doors are one of my favorite things about our new home. We love real wood exterior doors and feel they are a key element in creating curb appeal for a home! I have to say I couldn’t be happier with how these doors turned out in our new home.
Well, what a crazy few weeks it has been, but we did it! We are moved into our new house and so ready to share each and every space with you. The very first area we are going to be sharing is our mudroom. When we started our planning stages with Frusterio Design, we knew we wanted a separate mudroom and laundry room. Each would serve a different purpose and not to mention they were going to be on totally opposite sides of the home.
As if choosing the perfect pendant light and chandelier isn’t hard enough, then you have to decide on how high (or low) to hang it. Do you know how long it took us to determine the length of our dining room chandelier? It’s the one in the picture above. Well, let’s just say the poor electrician got his arm workout in for that day.
We love prefinished engineered hardwood. There are so many color choices and widths available and once it’s installed, it’s finished! But what if you have stairs?
